The quiet rhythm of an ARPG adventure

Return from the wilds with weapons, armour, currency and crafting scraps. Compare your finds, refine your build, store valuables in your personal bank-or disenchant unwanted gear for later.

Then step beyond the gate again.

What you carry matters

See every find. Shape every return.

Equipment appears on your character and stays organised through dedicated Equipment, Currency and Crafting views.

  • Eight equipped slots around a fully rendered hero
  • 24 equipment spaces that show only collected items
  • Separate tabs for currency and crafting materials
  • Direct actions to equip, split, trade or disenchant eligible finds

At the end of the old road

Face the Grave Warden

Read the sword arcs, spectral blade waves and shifting ranged pressure. Victory awards the legendary Wings of the Vale and opens a portal back to Ashen Camp.

A reset shrine in the Ritual Court supports a clean retry-or resurrects a defeated Warden for a rematch without removing completed progress or earned rewards.

The Vale remembers every step.

Each contest keeps a separate top 15. Final placement awards a permanent weapon enchant whose stat bonus and visual intensity scale with rank.

Questions from the campfire

Is Black Mountain Online an MMO?

No-not right now. Who knows what the future may hold? Today, it is a focused isometric ARPG for one to eight players, not a massively multiplayer persistent world.

Can I play completely offline?

Yes. Solo play is available offline, and your character and world progress are saved locally.

How does online play work?

One player hosts a session and up to seven others can join. Combat, loot and event results are controlled by the host.

Can I create multiple characters?

Yes. Character Select has five local slots. Every named hero keeps an independent save, equipment collection and Act I progression.

How many classes are there?

Five: Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Mage and Cleric. Mage and Cleric wear Cloth and use Intellect; the Mage specialises in Magic Power, while the Cleric can build toward Healing Power or offensive Magic Power.

Does the game have an opening cinematic?

Yes. A normal graphical launch begins with an approximately 12-second in-engine introduction across the Forsaken Vale. It reveals the game crest and Act I title, and can be skipped immediately with any keyboard key or mouse button.

Can players inspect and trade equipment?

Yes. Party frames open equipment inspection, and unequipped gear can be traded through a host-validated offer, counteroffer and final confirmation flow.

Are there competitive events?

Yes. Speedrun, Gearoholic and voluntary Bloodpit PvP each have a hosted seasonal top-15 leaderboard. They are optional and never replace normal progression.

Are the leaderboards global?

Not yet. Event seasons and rankings are stored with the player-hosted game. Central accounts and worldwide leaderboards have not been announced.

What is currently playable?

Act I: The Forsaken Vale, including Ashen Camp, the Deadwood, Forgotten Graveyard and the Black Crypt route from its single Crimson Gate to the Grave Warden's throne. The game remains in active development.
